I have 2 different questions but I am pretty sure that whoever knows the answer to one of them may know the answer to both. First question is about MYPOINTS. I am about 300 pts away from the 50.00 RFC gift card. Can anyone give me any tips on how to hurry it along. I feel I am only earning 10pts a day.

The second question is this. How long does it usually take to get the gift cards from MYPOINTS and Sunshine. I am trying to earn the points as fast as I can for our upcoming trip. I cashed out for disney dollars before and that took almost 2 months.

For MyPoints, do the Frog Pond reviews if you haven't already done them. Update your profile and do any quick points like signing up for email newsletters. For huge point gains, do some shopping. The current Lancome offer is for 3000 pts with a $40 purchase. They gave quite a few bonuses and samples with the purchase. Plus shipping was free. An Office Depot purchase of $50 will get you 500 points very quickly. I get my ink from them so it's easy to spend $100 in a single order.

The delivery of redemptions really varies. It took only 3 weeks for my last redemption at each of those websites. I don't think that Disney Dollars are available as a reward anymore unless you are a super member but it tended to take longer than a GC to get those. It may be cutting things close by the time any points credit to your account if you need to your GC in 2 months.

On the mypoints home page, on the right hand side, there is normally a section that has quick clicks (it'll say something like insurance-105 pts) If you click on those links, do the little survey question, you'll get 5 points. It's just like the e-mail clicks just on the home page. That will get you some points.

You can also do the max offers, but I think that doesn't credit for a month.

You can also install the toolbar for a one time 100 pts, but I think that also doesn't credit for a month.

Disney gift cards are taking about 1 month over on SR as they are bought from disney, have to be mailed to SR, and then mailed to you. So there is delay with all the mailing. Disney Dollars take much longer as they are not sold the same way and it just depends on if the mall stores have them in stock and they are being discontinued by Disney so that option will probably go away (big discussion in the SR forums on this one).

Mypoints from my experience just varies on what you are cashing out for and when. Sometimes it has taken a week and other times over a month.
