2 questions - 1 about Disney parking, the other about Disney APs

Just wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts on these;

1. Is it possible to park at Downtown Disney in the morning (I read it is free to park here?) then get a bus from DD to Epcot and use the monorail to get to the parks, saving $10 on at-the-park parking?

I doubt I will do it myself as it seems like alot of hassle, although if funds are running short at the end of the holiday you never know. Just wondering if its at all possible though, or is their restrictions on the amount of time you can park at DD?


2. I am buying APs for DisneyQuest for me and my son, since they are only $160 total (which it would probably cost us for only 2 visits!). On the Disney website, it lists the APs (including the one for DQ), and also mentions something about extra benefits with them. I have also read on here in numerous threads that APs entitle you to free parking at the parks.

I assume these benefits dont apply to the DQ AP though?

Can't help with the AP question but the parking at Downtown Disney I might be able too

It is free to park at DTD and there are no time restrictions that I know about, however there are no buses from DTD to the parks you would need to go via a resort and change there.

Aaaahhh, thats where I was getting mixed up I had read peoples trip reports and they spoke about buses to DD, but they were obviously staying on-site.

If you have a DQ AP you can't get free parking at the parks, the pass you are thinking of is a premium AP this has DQ and water parks aswell as the regular parks.
