Ashton loved the soup at Earl of Sandwich, too! we went there twice just for him potato one night and tomato the next time for lunch(first time I ever tried tomato; suprprised that we both liked it)--I loved the HI BBQ chicken!!! yum makes me want one now!!!

we went to DTD from Epcot the day we did it...we rode the bus to POFQ and took the boat to DTD; it was different and Ashton loved it!

Thursday May 21st

I had a hard time getting the family out of bed on this day. The girls were sound asleep and Jeff was refusing to leave the bed. I reminded Jeff about how he felt about lines and he finally got up. We had a quick breakfast and were off.
We ventured to the Safari first since we all loved it on our first day here. The posted time was 30 min but we waited over 45. Had the girls call the grandparents to pass the time. Here are some Safari pics.

We then made our way (quickly cause we were late) to Yak and Yeti for lunch. It was awesome. No pics-sorry. One of our top meals of the trip. A must do for next time. On the way to Dino Land we met up with

Cayley and I headed to Tricerotops Spin while Jeff and Avery took on Dinosaur. Avery liked the rollercoaster part but not the Dinosaurs or the dark. Cayley loved TS. We ended up riding it 3 times-the last with Daddy and Avery.

I had been texting with Leanne and we decided to watch the parade together. FIrst we found some pic taking oppertunities.

Uggh--the rain!! I am praying we will have MUCH better weather this May! It looks like you had a fun time at AK! And you got some great pics AND got to see Devine! Our AK day was a bust due to the 11 inches of rain we got on Tuesday!! Uggh!

Congratulations on the move to the Poly!!! That resort just looks amazing. Someday I hope to stay there. And to be on the monorail....ahhhh...so much easier with littles!

AK cont'd

We met up with Leanne and family to check out the parade. Got some popcorn and drinks and settled in.

Cayley hung out on Leanne's lap while the rest of the girls hung out on the ground. Very cute parade. A couple of the characters came up to give high fives and hugs.

After the parade we were off to Epcot.

We took the bus over to Epcot since we had an ADR at Le Cellier that night. We got fastpasses for Soarin and headed over to Canada. The girls checked out the Kidcot station

They then came and got us for dinner. We were seated in the main room I think. Cayley was not so happy to be there. First highlight was meeting Nichole and her family. She came over and introduced herself and we shared rain horror stories. I went over and had little Cayley meet big Kaylee. There were all very nice.

I know that I am in the minority but I was not blown away by the meal. I did like the soup-neither child would touch it. My steak was ok-the potatos were YUMMY. Cayley kept needing to potty so that was distracting-not to mention annoying! We did enjoy the dessert

After dinner we headed over to Japan to do the "pick a pearl" Avery was so excited that she reached right in there and grabbed one! Everyone thought she was pretty cute. I am very ashamed to say that we somehow lost the pearl She has never asked about it though We then ventured over to Test Track. Avery did not want to ride-thought it went to fast so I did the single rider and walked right on NICE. Thought it was pretty fun. The girls had fun in the cars while they waited.

We then headed to ride Soarin with the ride swap-Cayley was too short. While we waited for Daddy and Avery Cayley ran around the waiting area like a maniac. I rode with Avery and loved it. I am from Calif and it brought back so many memories. I was weepy on the ride and tear up thinking about it. Loved it!! Jeff took Cayley up and down on the esculaters while we rode.

On the way out we ran into Nichole and family and met Tammy (Onetreehilladdict) and her clan. Great people. Super cute kiddos. Tried to meet up with them several times but weather interferred. Hoping they go back next May. We then headed back to CBR for the night.

Friday May 22nd

This day will be short on pictures due to rain. Got some food porn though.

We caught the Epcot bus from CBR cause there were NO MK buses for a llooonnggg time. and it was raining. Took the monorail to the TTC and the boat to MK. Look at all that Disney transport we used!

Rode the Carpets, checked out the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room, and rode pirates. Then it started to pour. Took refuge at CHH where of course I ordered the Anchors Away

That was a seriously yummy sandwich.

Jeff had the chicken strip and fish combo.

We then went and rode the carousel. Jeff and Avery rode BTMR while Cayley and I waited in the rain. It continued to rain so we called it a day at the MK and headed back to CBR.

We headed to the food court area and did some "poor us it is raining on our first trip to WDW" retail therapy. We then had dinner in the food court. Nothing spectacular but decent. After dinner the sun came out!! I ran back to the room and grabbed our swim suits. We went in the "big pool" Avery loved the slides. Cayley went half way down and refused to go further. I was going to go after her so I went down to get her and bring her back up That was a sight. We then walked back to the room,watched a little TV and turned in for the night.

WOW!! 3 DIS meetings in one day!! How fun!! And you got to swim in the pool--I'm jealous!! We never had a chance to enjoy the Poly pool due to all of the rain. Next time!!

Hi Girlfriend! Great (and super fast) updates! So when ya starting a PTR for the May trip?

BTW, if the weather doesn't cooperate I think Disney shoudl give all of us a refund this time...
