2 Player Ds Games

Hello!

I will be picking up a ds lite (for ds4) & a dsi (for ds7) for Christmas & I am absolutely clueless on how the 2 player games work.

Which games can I buy that they can play together? Also, do I need to buy two cartridges of the same game so they can play them together or does it work with one cartridge? Do I need to buy an accessory to enable the game sharing?

Thanks for any help! I want to make sure I know how these things work so I can maximize what I get out of $ spent!

some of the games will say wi-fi in the top corner of the box. There is a way for them to play those games together with one game. There will be instructions. Based on the ages of your kids, they will problably not want to play the same games. For your 4 year old you will need to find games with little reading, unless you want to be sitting with them the whole time they are playing. Dora and Diego games are very simple and my daughter was able to play them without help when she was 4. That is just what I found with my kids. Pokemon games which all the boys want have a lot of reading. E for everyone doesn,t mean that everyone can play them. Mario games are also good, because you can kind of play with out reading. Lego Bateman, star wars and Indiana jones are good too.

DS reccommends any the Mario games for your kids ages. Mario Cart is fun (may be hard for the little one.)

Thanks for the input--it is greatly appreciated! Good point on watching how much reading is needed for my younger ds--he is pretty amazing to watch at how quickly he picks up on playing games & actually helps big brother out of some jams on the gba games but those have little reading. The websites are a good source too--I'll definitely read up on those. At least I'm starting to get a clue!

I am trying to figure this out too. I think Mario games are excellent and worth the $$ -- my guys, all of my guy (DH too) played Mario Kart from 1 DS cartridge last Christmas morning and were giggling like ticklish hyenas thw whole time!! It was a beautiful sight!
