2 people 1 ticket?

I have an interesting situation and was curious if I could save some money. We have a big group going with us to Disney this December. However, 1 person can only be there the first 2 days and then must head back and another will be late arriving and can only be there the last 3 days. Can you buy one 5 day ticket and have the first person use it days 1 and 2 and then give it to the other person for days 3-5? Figure buying 1 5 day would be cheaper than a 2 day and a 3 day ticket.
