Doing a Disney vacation late Feb into March.....have one spare day for Universal. We've been many times, but have a few in our group that haven't so we want to show them as much as we can. We always do both parks in one day, but have never been this time of year and last time we did do the EP to make sure we had time to ride everything. I have to admit, it was awesome, BUT it's sooooo expensive. Wondering if I will really need it on a weekday in March???? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

the beginning of march is the very beginning of the spring break season. crowds should not be too bad, with monday - wednesday your best bets. we've been at this time - once in shorts and once with sweatshirts - LOL. Personally we haven't found the mardi gras stuff worth any of the hype. We saw the parade once - it was nice. Didn't like any of the kiosk mardi gras food.
if you are arriving for opening and staying to closing (universal has such SHORT operating hours IMO!!) and not taking an hour out for lunch, you should be fine to see everything.
I suggest a ROUGH priority list to help guide you.
