We have four park days planned for our February trip, but we have a five day ticket. Can I book FP+'s in advance for two parks in the same day with the intentions of using that fifth day for the second park? Hope this makes sense.

PP is correct

#1 you can only book FP in advance for one park per day

#2 you must have a park hopper to go to more than one park in one day - Disney is wise to the idea that people can buy more days for 'less' than a park hopper

sorry!

If you had five one day tickets instead of one five day ticket, and two My Disney Experience accounts ...

Or if you had one multiday ticket and one 1 day ticket and 2 MDE accounts ...

Then you could put a one day ticket on its own MDE account and book fastpasses for the second half of the fifth day independently of FPs booked for the first half.

The preceding is a highly non-recommended practice but if you want more FPs that badly you might even try it.

Right out in the open that it says multi day tickets are for one park per day plus right on the fast pass plus page it says one park per day

The 1-Day Ticket: Magic Kingdom Park is valid for admission to Magic Kingdom park. This ticket is not valid at EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.

The 1-Day Ticket: EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is valid for admission to any one of these 3 parks. This ticket is not valid at Magic Kingdom park.

Multi-day tickets are valid for admission to any one of the 4 theme parks per day.

No, as others said, you cannot enter 2 parks in one day without a hopper. Since you already bought a 5 day ticket you are kinda stuck. If you want to buy another single day ticket for over $100 a piece and put it on a new MDE account you can do what you want, but personally I find that is not worth it unless you are going christmas week or something. Your only easy option is to upgrade that 5 day ticket to a hopper.

You can only book FP's for one park per day.

You would have to park hop and look for additional FP's at a kiosk in the 2nd park.

Thank you for all of the responses. UT gives you the fifth day free with the purchase of a four-day ticket, so just trying to use the extra day. No big deal to us.
