I don't know how it got started and maybe someone else can tell you that and you never know how long it will last cause the price has went up over time cause the price was $94.99 when I bought mine and it still beats paying over $200.00 for Dsney tickets and I am not knocking Disney and Love Disney but too expensive when your on a budgetAny know when this deal started or have any thoughts on how much longer it will be available?
The main thing...is Bubba's Mom pointed out...these ticket deals could end at any time and I think once HP opens, you can say good-bye to all these specials. So...if you are considering purchasing tickets, you should take advantage of the ticket specials while you can.Any know when this deal started or have any thoughts on how much longer it will be available?
Yup...don't look for any deals like that again.because of the success of Harry Potter, I wouldn't expect these prices ever again.... They even raised AP prices pretty nicely
but...we can hope they toss us a bone...er, a special....
I was hoping to pick up some Power Passes, but since we are not Florida residents looks like we are out of luck. That really stinks, the only choice is the full season pass which is tough to justify as we are planning on going on 2 trips over the next 12 months, but only planning 2 days each trip, so it's pretty pricey for 4 days. You would think they would offer the Power Pass to fill up the park on the off season as I don't plan on going during peak days. I know in the past they offered it, but not any longer :-(
I recently read on another website where customers found a 3 day pass for both parks at Costco for $135 per person. The great thing about it was the passes did not expire until 2013, unlike having the use the other passes within 14 days of your first visit. It may be locally, but it is worth a try. Try a google search of costco universal $135.
Here is the original post:
......"I live in Virginia and just noticed that my local Costco has 3 day Universal Orlando tickets for $135 each. According to the package, they expire in 2013, are park-hopper tickets (so you can go to IOA and US on the same day and it only counts as one day of use), and do not have to be used on consecutive days.
In light of the new pricing structure, I thought these sounded like a good deal if you plan on going to Universal Orlando in the next 3 years".........
online they sell for just $144 for a 3 day....but do you pay tax at Costco on those?
I can't seem to find these online. I searched for universal studios and found a pass for California, and also searched Orlando but came up empty. Is there a link or is this no longer available online? Thanks
Can anyone confirm that is true they don't expire for 2, 3 years?
So you could use 1 day this year, 1 next year and 1 the year after?
