2 Park Preferred Annual Pass

We are a family of annual passholders (me, DH, and DD6), and now our son has turned the dreaded 3 and has to have his own pass. When DD turned 3, I got a great deal from AAA for her (2 years for the price of one) but despite all my searching this year, have found no good deals at all for the Preferred Annual Pass. Does anyone know of anything? To spend $220 right now would be kind of hard on us, although we'd manage it somehow because we are not going to stop going to Universal But if someone could point me towards a good discount, I'd appreciate it!

Does your daughter need any of the perks with the Preferred Pass? - as long as you have one, you could still get those perks - and she should only need a power pass for $ 150.00, or you could consider the mardi gras pass for $ 99.00 (but that expires on 12/19/09).

That's a good point. I just checked the blockout dates and they are not bad -- only a week at Easter, 4th of July week, and also Christmas, times we wouldn't go to the park anyway. So he (it's actually for my son) could probably get away with a Power pass.

That would be the best thing to do...just have one preferred so you can get the discounts and parking.

If you are still an AAA member, you can get a power pass for $97 dollars + tax.

I bought two at the Kissimmee office 2 weeks ago.

I would also just get the annual pass with blackout dates. if you do decide to go to the parks on a blackout date, you can always just upgrade your son's AP to the preferred pass at that time.
