We are sneaking through LA on our way back east after a Disney cruise to Alaaka in August. We arrive with 2 kids (11 and7) at the Grand Californian on a Monday early evening (will probably just need to eat and sleep.) So we have Tuesday and Wednesday (until about 8pm as we have a red eye home.) We are WDW veterans (2 trips year, have had APs, etc) so we feel pretty comfortable just arriving, but any advice would be appreciated. We will not park hop, don't care about World of Color, and generally food is a part of our trips (but truthfully after the cruise and the fact that we only have 2 days I want to focus on distinctly DL food that doesn't take up huge amnts of touring time. Oh yeah, and before anyone suggests it, the days/nights are set in stone. It is what it is...if we live DL, we will simply go back.
