2-Park 7-Day Unlimited Admission Questions

While we're more than a year away, we're planning out our three-day Universal adventure now, but before we purchase tickets, we want to make sure that the admission we're buying is what we want.

We're planning on arriving mid-day on Sunday to a Universal hotel (probably RPH). We'd like to venture into the parks on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It seems to me that the best deal by far is the online-only 2-Park, 7-Day Unlimited Admission option for $80.98.

A few questions, though, before purchasing the tickets. By saying "umlimited park-to-park admission," does that mean that we'll be able to switch parks during the middle of the day (my guess is that the answer is yes)?

And, question 2, I realize that the tickets expire six days after its first use, but I just want to make sure that the tickets themselves don't have an expiration of when they have to be first used. For example, if I buy them today, is there any issue with us not using them until Summer 2009? I'm aware that Universal (like Disney) doesn't generally stamp an expiration date on their tickets, but since this seems like a special deal, I wanted to know if anyone knew of any restrictions.

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

!. you can switch parks as many times as you want in the 7 day period.

2. The countdown for expiration begins when u start your first visit through the turnstile. i don't think the ticket has any expiration but another expert might answer that. i brought the 7 day once and held it it 7 months before using it.

The tickets themselves have no expiration date provided you don't activate them at the gate. Then, they expire six days after and these tickets are good for both parks. Think of them as "park hoppers"...you can hop as much as you want.

Thank you both very much. I figured that they didn't expire, but I didn't see anything either saying that they did or didn't in my preliminary "research."

Thanks again!
