we are getting a mini van - 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children)

We are gonna have the car while we are in florida the week before the cruise. My son rents the car so I am not sure what deal he got, but he usually get a good deal every year when we visit - we got it from thrifty the last two years. You might want to check them out.

ILuvDisney! - would you please add me to the fish extender list? It sounds like fun. Does everyone on the list give you their room numbers so we know where to find those who are participating or do we just hunt around the ship? My DH thinks I'm crazy doing this (especially since this is just a him and me trip - no kids) and trying to create the door magnets but I think it's great!

I haven't informed my husband about the fish extenders or the door magnets. He doesn't understand my Disney obsession he just funds it!!!

I asked Kristin off one of the boards to design my door magnet. I'm making some Mckey and Minnie ears to go around the room number. The fish extender gifts are for the kids. They will never know what might be waiting for them at the room when we have to drag ourselves away from the FUN.

I'm sure as the time gets closer and everyone finds out their room numbers we will be able to exchange room numbers and have a final head count for gifts.

Anyone else interested in the FISH EXTENDER exchange?????

I checked a few days ago, but we are in Category12 Guaranteed, so I don't think they will assign us the room till the last minute.

We are in room 6044. We requested adjoining rooms with the couple we are traveling with. I would be interested in a no-sew fish extender too.

I'm also in an unassigned cabin and had thought about the issue of exchanging gifts when I do not have a # until the last minute. I just figured I would write my room number on my fish extender gifts once I have my room number. This will let the other exchangers know where to find me!!!

If we have multiple people in our exchange with unassigned numbers - my idea will not work

If it is not too much trouble...
If all us unassigned leave you our room numbers once on board in "your" fish extender, would you take the fish extender name list and add room numbers and then leave them in "our" fish extenders. We will then all have a current list on the cruise and we can go about passing out our gifts.

So, since our 90 day mark is in a few days (and shortly after our 75 days) , what is everyone hoping to book as far as reservations/excursions? We would like to grab Palo and we are looking at the Atlantis waterslides and something in the spa... How about you guys?

I was thinking about booking Palo, but then it will be my mom's first time on DCL, every night we will dine in a resturant she never been to anyway. I will save Palo for my next cruise with my partner.
Well, good news is...more Palo table for the rest of you!
