2 nighter at Pop! I'm hooked

have to admit I was apprehensive at first to book pop, having never been, but after 2 short nights I am hooked! The cast were beyond perfect, attentive to every detail and super friendly. The pool and activities were a pleasant surprise and the bus service was quick and easy especially being spring break week. We enjoyed how convenient the food court was and the gift shop was centrally located.
my only dislike, and this is everywhere not just pop, is how the food courts there never seem to have an urgency to more the line. I completely get that food prep is important and attention to detail is key, but having worked in the food industry as a teen, we were taught to move the line so guests did not feel over whelmed at the wait. But to me, that details is so minor, I won't allow it to affect my views.
so if you were ever second guessing the pop, put it out of your mind and go for it!

Glad you're liking POP. We love it too. We're trying AoA this time but had it not been for that we'd be right back at POP. Our only other Disney resort stay was at CBR and we highly disliked that.

My big complaint with Pop Century? Having to say something nice to just about every single Cast Member because they always greet you with a "good morning (or afternoon)" or "hi" or "how you doing?". Every single one of them. My gosh, it's annoying.

I love Pop Century and echo the PP who said they prefer this resort to a moderate. I even prefer it to a Deluxe.

I am so glad to hear this! We are staying there next week and I was very nervous about it based on things my brother in law had said about all values in general (although he has never stayed at one so what he is basing his opinion on I don't know lol!). We are trying to fit a trip in on a budget at a place my kids will love. Glad you are enjoying your stay and I'm hoping my family enjoys ours just as much!

me too - if DVC did not exist would always stay at POP - when staying onsite.

We love it too. Was apprehensive after reading the negative comments about it being too small, too noisy, like a super 8, etc. We had great mousekeeping, towel animals every time, everything was super clean. Nothing bad to say about it at all.

I'm sad that for our next trip we will have five - so unable to stay at POP unless we do 2 rooms. I guess it will depend on what the deals are for that time.

But we will definately make a trip there to swim in the hippy dippy pool. (Ha j/k - hope someone reads further to the jk part before I get a strip torn off me about pool hopping). Maybe grab one of those awesome sundaes and take a walk around remembering our frist trip.

POP is our favorite! We will be staying for our third trip in a row there in May. Not had any complaints. Since we spend most of our time out and about when we are onsite, POP fits our needs perfectly.

I am so excited about my upcoming stay at the POP. I have only ever stayed at the moderates and a few deluxes, but I have been wanting to try a value for the longest time...especially POP, it's decor just looks so darn fun and colorful.
