Although we tried FRESH during our last stay for breakfast and loved it we tried it for lunch this time around (and again for breakfast). I must say this is a great place for a variety of choices. It's kinda like having a buffet but everything is made to order! and it's...delicious!!

The really neat thing is on the weekends they serve brunch, so you can get breakfast (or lunch) at LUNCH time which is a tough thing to find anywhere else on Disney property.

We will be frequently visiting here everytime we're in WDW.

JIKO was our second new find. It was actually just my 5 yr old dd and I and we both enjoyed it very much. I've been wanting to check out AKL and we finally had the chance the other night so I thought it would be neat to try Jiko.

DD had a salad (a kid's salad-with just lettuce and carrots-which is something new for her-never seen her eat a salad until we were there!) She had the grilled cheese and enjoyed that as well. Our server Omar was very attentive and helpful.

I actually chose to have 2 appetizers instead of an entree. I had the cucumber, tomatoe and onion salad with watermelon dressing--so delicious and unique!! And the tomatoe and some type of fancy cheese flatbread (yes a little tomatoed out), but it was excellent!!

We were seated by the window which had an awesome view of the pond and there were some ducks swimming around right by us. It was a wonderful experience... will definitely bring dh there next visit!

Jiko's is wonderful, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think I may have to try Fresh, it sounds interesting. Thanks for posting! :D

Jiko's is one of our favorite spots too. We'll be trying Fresh for bkfst this upcoming trip.

I had the same salad and the olive flatbread the last time I dined at Jiko. :D

What sort of things are made fresh to order for lunch at Fresh? We have to get over there one of these trips.

Thanks for the reviews.

No, did not have to make PS for FRESH. With Tubbi's right around the corner not sure it gets too terribly busy for breakfast. Lunch/brunch wasn't too busy either. It is right across from the Dolphin Fountain in the Dolphin on the ground floor in the back of the resort.

BCV23-For breakfast this time I had an omlette (bad spelling) that was delicious, just simple, tomatoe and cheese (you can tell I like that combo huh?) but excellent. Bacon was cooked just right. They have a huge variety of muffins, breakfast breads, crossiants, etc. You can chose made to order pancakes, french toast, apple stuffed french toast. They'll pretty much make whatever you like as long as they have the ingredients there. There was also fresh fruit, yogurt and granola available.

For lunch, they had breakfast items available (as I mentioned they have brunch on the weekends) and lunch items like roasted chicken and this beef tenderloin that was like butter!! That was soooo good! I do remember some salads like a tomatoe (here we go again!) and cucumber and onion salad. They have a lot of meditterrean types of choices. Oh they had Italian Wedding soup my dh loved! They had some gourmet desserts like key lime pie, carrot cake, mocha cake and some other choices and they also have "health" type drinks at both meals.

Thanks, sounds very good. Do you think you're more likely to return for breakfast or lunch.....or brunch.:D? Does sound nice having both options. I remember when there were a number of brunch choices at WDW.
