:Pinkbounc My husband and I just found out i'm pregnant. We don't have kids. Should we cancel? What can i do if i'm 2 month pregnant?? Please help. We had plan staying at hardrock, doing both parks. Help???

Congradulations! First of all, speak with your physician and get his recommendations on what you should and should not ride. I would'nt cancel the vacation, there will be lots for you to see and do while you are there...and it may be your last chance for a vacation alone for a long time! :flower:

That is such exciting news! My friend went to Universal last year while she was 3 months pregnant. She avoided some of the big roller coasters that cause motion sickness and had a fantastic time. I agree with the last post, it may be a while before another vacation alone.

At 6-8 weeks PG I did everything at Disneyland. Two months later, I opted out all the thrill rides at Disneyworld. I still had a great time :). Although I was embarrased that the CMs thought I was too chicken to ride!

I did everything at Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farms when I was 3 months pregnant with twins. Ask your doctor. Mine thought thrill rides were fine. He said if they were that dangerous that people would just ride coasters instead of having abortions. I didn't know I was pregnant with twins though. I found that out when I was 6 months along.

But I also rode horses up until the day I delivered my 7 pounder fullterm twins.

Those poor horses :rotfl2:!

You're right about the roller coasters, IMO. The fetus is pretty well protected. Of course, if a woman's doctor doesn't think it's OK then she shouldn't ride. Also, WDW probably won't allow someone obviously pregnant to ride anything with a warning due to liabililty issues.

If I Were You I'd Still Go But Limit What I Ride, Every Woman's Body Is Different And What 1 Pregnate Woman Can Do, Another One May Not, Ask Your O.b But Stay Away From The Hulk, The Mummy And Dragons, I'd Ask About Back To The Future And Spider Man Just To Be On The Safe Side. Good Luck And Have Fun. (you Can Always Watch The Shows And Parades, Plus You Can For Sure Ride Jaws Everything At Seuss Landing) Wishing You And Your Baby All The Best.
