Kids are 10 and 13. Good eaters, I want to go to Rest. Ankhauraus (obvious spelling error)!

Not sure they go for Salmon or Kelp!

Any help?

Good, kid-friendly food at Biergarten, and a pretty good little show, too! My DD is a picky eater, and she likes it.

My DD (11) is a good eater, DS (8) somewhat picky, here's where we ate and how they did in WS.

Teppanyaki- DD had adult steak and chicken combo
DS kids grilled chicken
They loved the food and atmosphere, will go back but is expensive.

Rose and Crown: Both had grilled chicken breasts, one with mashed pots, one with fries. Shared roll basket and fruit&cheese sampler plate.

Le Cellier: DD had kids steak meal with potatoes (mashed?)
DS had grilled chicken again with fries
Great kids desserts here, yummy and amazing presentation.
They loved the pizza bread and DD liked our cheese soup.

In the past we have eaten at Garden Grill and San Angel with them and they did fine. Askerhaus doesn't appeal to us so we haven't tried it.

The cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier is to die for! Definitely something to try! :teeth:

I would suggest the Garden Grill. They'll love the characters and they have choices of kid friendly food.

The Garden Grill. The kids meal was good, and I was even nibbling off of it! And the character interaction was the best we had of 3 char. meals during our Dec. trip!

It's also nice to sit, relax, have them wait on you, and just "watch the land go by"!!! ;)

Dh and I just got back from Akershus. Our kids dont like the food there either but they are teens so they went somewhere else. But they offer kid friendly non norwegian food for the kids. It comes with goldfish crackers and grapes I think. I dont know if it is listed on deb wills ste. The kid next to us was screaming until he got his chocolate milk. Its a kid friendly place and there are like maybe 3 kids selections. I just couldnt remember what they are. The kids selections are not off the buffet, you order them off the menu for like $4.95 I think.

I second Teppanyaki in Japan -- very, very kid-friendly. Host made origami frogs for my kids while waiting to be seated, tried to teach them some Japanese words, taught them to use chopsticks. Chef was very taken with my blonde, blue-eyed, 7 year old DD
and joked with her throughout the meal. Food is familiar but so much better than the same-old, same-old pizza, mac cheese, PBJ, chicken fingers and fries.

DH and I think the money was well spent. Look forward to going back

I would defintely recommend Teppenyaki, delicious food, and most of the chefs are quite entertaining at the table. If you're looking for a character meal with good food, then I'd recommend the Garden Grill.

Have fun! ::MinnieMo

LeCellier or Garden Grill
Teppanyaki is nice, but kind of rushed and a bit expensive for what you get

Garden Grill is served family style with a lot of food that appeals to kids. The rotating aspect of the restaurant is unique and there is good character interaction.

LeCellier is great food, nice setting and superb service. Having my Mother's Day dinner there in a few weeks and can't wait!

Where is the Garden Grill? Is it a character meal? I've missed this one somehow. We are looking for two more restaurants for dinner with DD's 5 & 7. I need one for Epcot & another:yo-yo: can't make up my mind - been changing ps' alot:teeth:
