So,

DD6 and DD9 are too short to ride alone. DD9 is 51 inches and weighs 55 lbs. DD6 is 30 something pounds and 44 inches. I am average size for a 5'4" female. Are we going to have a problem riding all 3 of us together? Rider Swap is not an option because I am not going to have other adults with us.

Wondering if we need to bypass the line altogether. :( I know the line is a hassle but it's a favorite tradition at our house.

We have not had a problem riding together in a similar situation the past two trips so I doubt you will have an issue. Heads up, on spaceship earth, they were making us separate and not allow three in a row even though we had two relatively young children with an adult in that row. Only happened the first time. Kind of a jerkoff policy for spaceship earth.

They've always allowed us to ride together. They even asked me if both of my kids wanted to drive, and let us go twice so each kid could drive.

Yeah, I was wondering where else we might be a tight squeeze. Peter Pan should be ok? I'm not even going to attempt 7DMT or Splash (the kids aren't interested). Buzz?

That's really nice. I think my kids would appreciate that. Thankfully they appreciate the finality of a flip of a coin, for now at least.

I think Buzz would be a VERY tight fit, and there are only 2 guns.

We had a similar issue and I put our 8 year old in a car by herself and then the 6 year old and I got in the car right behind her. We also had the 2 kids together and I rode in the car right behind them.

This isn't an issue since there are no height requirements for Buzz.

You could still do 7DMT.....I would put DD9 in the row in front of me and put me and the younger child directly behind DD9. Unless she is very timid about riding rides, you'll be within arms reach of her. If her having a stranger in the seat next to her makes you uncomfortable, simply ask the CM to leave it empty.

Not sure about Splash because I haven't ever ridden it, lol.

That's a whole other conversation. She is that timid. Freaked out on the Jumping Jellyfish in DCA at Disneyland (super tame ride) because it was new to her and she didn't have a parent next to her. I don't think they are interested in 7DMT, so it won't be an issue.

Height restrictions aren't a problem except on TS.

FYI - Splash is a snug 2 per row under a fixed lap bar. Any young child would most certainly need an adult next to them. A fidgety older child might also.

I rode Peter Pan and Splash 3 across last year with DS14 and DD10. You won't have any problems on either of those if you choose to ride. BTMRR and Haunted Mansion fit 3 as well.

You will need to split up on 7DMT and Barnstormer, though your 9 year old can just ride directly in front of you.

The only other MK ride they had us split up on was Astro Oribter. (Though it's under refurb right now). I have seen 1 adult and 2 young children on it, but when DS was 10 they had him go in his own rocket while DD6 and I rode together. Not sure how they would handle your party as your DD9 is much smaller than my kids were at that age.

You can fit 3 on Buzz fine, but there are only 2 lasers.

We have rode five across on Peter Pan. It was our whole family. We did it twice in January. Really good experience to cram in the family and experience it as a whole unit. Buzz, we often have three in a row. The adult does not get to shoot in this situation. I am a proud galactic hero 4x over last trip so I had to sit in the middle a bunch of times while my wife attempted to hit my score.

The only rides that I can think of that will not allow three in a row are below:

Magic Kingdom
Magic Carpets (you can sit behind them and I have seen this vary between cast members allowing and not allowing)
Splash mountain
Space mountain

Epcot
Spaceship earth (sometimes, do not give them a chance to say no, there is zero reasons three cannot fit in a row on spaceship earth).

Splash allows three. :goodvibes I've done it both before and after the lap bars were added.

nice, the only time i get to ride splash is alone because the kids are still freaked out about splash (and space). I am that idiot dad wearing a poncho sitting by himself.

We have done Buzz with me controlling the direction and the kids having a blaster each :good vibes
Just make sure you put the youngest in first :thumbsup2

This helps a lot. I would never have guessed we could fit 3 in Splash. We most likely won't, but if someone is dying to ride, at least we have the option. I assumed BTMRR, PP and HM would fit. Good to know Buzz will work too. I don't mind steering that one.

I think DD9 will feel fine to split up on Barnstormer, Dumbo and Carpets.

We won't do Space, 7DMT, and are only going to MK this short trip.

Thanks so much!
