2 in same room but arriving different days - dining plan and magic bands

My sister-in-law is on my room reservation because she wants the same dining plan as I have but she is arriving a day later than me. I will be at dinner when she arrives and she will be eating at the food court. Since she will be bringing her magic band with her she should be able to use the dining plan as long as she has my code for the meal plan correct? They will not need me at the check in desk or anything to make sure her magic band is active on the account.

Everything should be active as soon as you check in. She can set her own pin and use her magic band to access the dining plan when she arrives. There shouldn't be any reason for her to go to the front desk.
