It's the posts that count, not the post count I must be a real chatterbox. I am not an early bird and do quite a lot of posting at night, so once the UK boards go to sleep, I hop onto ones in a different time zone.

I lurked for a long time. Not sure exactly how long but a few years.

All I can say is what a great team we have on here! It's no wonder I want to be around you guys all the time!

I couldn't agree more. Luckily we don't have many on here that only post to see their count go up but I have seen it many times before and it used to really annoy me (I don't know but someone will be along soon who does - that sort of thing)
I also think that you are an extremely valuable member of the boards and am always impressed by the way you go out of your way for others to get them the information they need

Enjoy the last few days of your countdown and I am looking forward to reading all about how you spring your surprise

Oh Kenny that is such a lovely thing to say. I don't ever think of looking for info for someone as going out of my way. To me, information is always useful so if finding it for someone else, I get it too.

Now on the topic of too much time on the DIS ... if I seem to be on here a lot in the next week or so, someone had better boot me in the direction of cleaning and sorting my house out. Workmen have gone but there is flooring and skirtings up and I can't go away and leave the place looking like this.
