No not every kid, but Kate does have some issues. I do believe that if it is true, that it comes from being filmed and getting treated like celebs, and also from the divorce. It is terrible for kids and sometimes they do act out when parents get divorced. However, Kate does have a nasty temper.

And Jon is incredibly passive aggressive.

I think being one of SIX probably has something to do with it too. I have 2 kids 7 years apart in age and they fight like cats and dogs..... I can't imagine having 6 all the same age as well as the 2 olders sibs. Then there was the bickering between their folks and the messy divorce. Those kids defense mechanisms must be working over time.

Don't think so, I know of 2 people that have triplets and one that has quints. The kids get along great. yes a little normal bickering but in general they get along better than "normal" siblings.

The other stuff yep, I agree with. they have had one heck of a life so far. I don't think most 6 year olds could handle it.

Not that I need to know what is giong on. Schools are so quick to expell kids now a day for silly things. The 5 year who got suspend for kissing a little girl. The school who called the cops etc etc

Who is to say that it was someone from within the school? Unfortunately I see way too much gossip among the parents at DD & DS's school. It wouldn't take much for other parents to see what was going on (especially if multiple children were being bullied), and then put 2 & 2 together when the Gosselin kids were no longer there.

As to kids who bully? DW is a teacher, and, yes, a LARGE majority of the kids who bully have parents who are very elitist, or have other poor attitudes towards people who may be different from them. I do think there is a connection with kids who bully and their parents.

I don't have strong feelings either way about the parents or their child rearing skills, however I don't know how putting babies' and children's lives (including very personal moments) on television for everyone to see in order to make money can be considered anything but exploitation. The kids did not have a say in their television debut, to me, that is pure exploitation.

How do we know it was someone on the school staff? That information would have got round the school pretty quickly for all we know it was the parent of another child to spilled the beans.

I think so. Not every case is the same, Jon and Kate have certain personality traits, and those things can be passed to kids (and yes, genetically. I didn't know my Dad and I am A LOT like him).

Not that I am excusing or condoning their behavior, but I would venture to guess that there is at least some jealousy and some teasing/bullying going on towards the sextuplets. They are on television, get to go on lots of fancy trips, get cool toys and live in a big house. As a teacher I know that the other kids will probably give them a hard time and are most likely not all sunshine and roses toward the 6 of them.

I know what you mean. My oldest DS didn't know my dad well at all, but not only does he have some of his physical traits,(thank god, DH and I are short, dad was tall) but he also has quite a few of his mannerisms. It freaks me out.

I have to say I watched the Alaska epi on Sunday and thought the kids were sweet to each other, had a blast on the trip and from what I saw there was only one meltdown from one of the kiddos who could not clearly see the whales from the boat they were on ... and thats not to mention that they had been traveling and she was probably exhausted.

Its so sad that so much has changed with the kiddos in just the last year.
