2 First time Disney families with 3 small girls need help planning!

My family is planing on our First trip to Disney World. We are going with another family. Together we have 3 girls ages 6 and two 4 year olds. I would love some suggestions on what are "MUST do and see". There is SOO much out there I am in Disney overload

If you want to spend extra, I'd look into BBB (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique). Buy princess dresses at home (they're cheaper) or you can buy them there. You can get packages to have the girls hair done and a bit of "make up". If that's too expensive, you can also take them to Harmony Barbershop for a haircut.

If you get them all dressed up, you might want to check out CRT (Cinerella's Royal Table) and have breakfast, lunch or dinner with Cinderella in the castle.

There is also The Pirates League where they could get dressed up with pirate or mermaid make up and outfits if they prefer that to princess stuff.

when are you going- how many days- driving or using Disney transportation-

my girls love BBB, if you aren't at you 180 meal reservation day (called ADR on the Dis) count your days and call first thing in the morning to try and get a meal in the Castle(princesses), Akershus in Norway in Epcot (princesses) or Be our Guest (Beast), 1900 Park Faire (Cinderella stepsisters and Prince). Try to find a princess dress now (Halloween clearance). Do Storytime with Belle, Little Mermaid ride, visit Ariel (MK), Rapunzel (MK) Cinderella (MK), Tiana (MK) and Merida (MK)- Epcot is great to see princesses too (but if you do a princess meal then you will se them there) Snow WHite (Germany), Aladdin and Jasmine (Morocco), Sleeping Beauty and Belle (France), Mulan (China), Alice, Mary Poppins and Pooh 7 Tigger (England). But most of all have fun! enjoy the atmosphere look around and take it all in! It is impossible to do everything in 1 trip especially your first trip- relax and have fun!

Thanks for all the suggestions.We are going in May. I am trying to decide when to start talking about it. I would like to see as many princesses as possible. I think that is what they will enjoy the most.

With all those little girls you are in for some enchanted fun!!!! Just seeing their faces when they see the Castle for the first time is magical. Bring tissues! I would definatly take them to Akerhus in Norway for lunch or dinner with the Princesses! There was Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, and Snow White when we were there last year. Im sure it changes, but thats a lot of Princesses There is a meet and greet, but they sign at the meal and you can get pictures too. I remember they did a little parade around the restaurant that the kids could participate in. It was cute. The parade during the day at MK (forget what it is actually called) showcases all the princesses too. BBB for hair and makeup would be fun. You can bring your own dress from home to save like 85 bucks! My daughter had to be Belle when we got there after swearing that she didnt want to dress up this time around She was Belle, adorable, but she spent most of her spending money on a dress she never wore again. The pictures are priceless though

I would take them to Disney Junior at Hollywood Studios. There are Character Meet and Greets over there too from the Disney Junior shows. I would make sure to get or make each girl there own autographs book. Maybe have them all wear the same tshirt one day for pictures! May is a good time to visit (we will be there in May this coming year too = cant wait!!!!!!), so dont forget to pack the swim suits and take them to the pool. Even mid day for a break and some fun at the resort before heading back to the parks for fireworks or dinner. It can be overwhelming, the first visit to Disney, and you will not get to see and do everything on your list. Have a great time and try to plan your day with the kids schedules in mind to prevent melt downs.

If you scrap book, get paper ready ahead of time for character sign. also look into photopass or photopass + . Makes easier to assemble when you get home.

Regarding dual fam trips - make sure you make it clear it is OK to spend time apart or that you won't be in the same park on the same. If not you may be standing in the middle of the magic trying to decided where to go, asking yourself why are we here with them. Not trying to be butthead, just know what happens.

Naps - Good long power naps are must have esp midway through trip. I have given up 3 or 4 hours of park time to refuel the batteries to have my kids fully rested to get full enjoyment of the parks even after their normal bedtime.

Explore the parks. Look around and you will find nooks and crannies all over. Esp. more so in Epcot, through the stores and around character meet and greet. There is a hedge maze on the back side of England.
