I`ve been planning this trip since May! Here are the cast members
Me (early for everything , so we dont miss it) also celebrating a birthday this trip
my DH (he follows me and says ok , whatever you wanna do)
my DD-10 (the birthday princess who reached double digits this trip!)
my DD-8 (climber of anything he can climb on, and totally here to torture his sister!
And the 2nd family
Sandy (my close friend who plans nothing)
Her DH Michael who also follows me and says ok what next)
and their kids twins 7 y/o 1 boy (who wants to do everything twice b/c he is fascinated with it all and his sister (who tells every character they are her favorite!)
Our family is staying at pop century, my friends have a time share near the parks, we opted the park hotel for convenience. They offered for us to share their 2 bedroom , 2 bath apt. For many reasons we declined, but everything worked out well.
We flew out 7am friday morning, they left Thurs nite to drive straight thru from new jersey. We were in our room by 11:30am (I got them to hook us up in a close room to the lobby, 1st floor corner-room 1112)
and in MK by noon, what a magical way to start my DD`s 10th birthday. Took our family picture with the castle in the background! I got my pictures back and will try and fit them in as soon as I learn how to use my scanner!
We did some necessary rides, smallworld, pirates, philharmagic, winnie the pooh,snowwhite, and a few others b/4 we switched parks to epcot for our princess`s birthday dinner with the princesses. Got our pics with Ariel and were sat right away.
Got to meet all the princesses Mulan, alice, belle and Cinderella! They brought out a viking cupcake and sang happy birthday to my DD. And she also recieved a card , signed by all the princesses! It was wonderful!
We left there and flew straight to the land to use our fast pass tickets for soarin (my favorite ride now!)
So we get in the line and the girl at the fastpass line sees my DD`s crown and birthday pin and asks her if she has ever been on this ride, DD says no, this is my first time, and was handed back all 4 fastpasses and said my birthday gift to you, b./c I just know you will wanna do it again right away.
OK so we get on this ride the second time and as we are getting off a guy inside the ride says O no, the birthday princess and her family get to ride again! 3 times on the best ride in the park (my opinion) and its not even my birthday yet!
What a wonderful start to the happiest place on earth! Poor Sandy and Michael still in route! They`ll know better next time!
