2 familys, one world!

I`ve been planning this trip since May! Here are the cast members
Me (early for everything , so we dont miss it) also celebrating a birthday this trip
my DH (he follows me and says ok , whatever you wanna do)
my DD-10 (the birthday princess who reached double digits this trip!)
my DD-8 (climber of anything he can climb on, and totally here to torture his sister!
And the 2nd family
Sandy (my close friend who plans nothing)
Her DH Michael who also follows me and says ok what next)
and their kids twins 7 y/o 1 boy (who wants to do everything twice b/c he is fascinated with it all and his sister (who tells every character they are her favorite!)
Today is my special day! I want to be woken up by the mouse, it`s only fair since my DD got to answer it yesterday (we arrived on her birthday, so yesterday was our first morning and she got to then) But instead I let my son..............after all he is 8, and I`m a grown-up, right?
We eat at POP, which wasnt so crowded, we did get a table...........closer to Thanksgiving it was a madhouse! Which made me glad we had so many adr`s for breakfasts!
We met our other family at the bus stop (they allowed us a parking pass for their car................no flames here I asked at check in and they said no problem there)
Started our day off at the kingdom, did some rides, park was still not that crowded, especially for a Sunday. Its 2:30 and we decide to look for a spot for the parade. Our other family says we are hungry (they didn`t eat breakfast) can we meet u there? Ok we will wait right in front of the castle.
We luck out and find a spot right in front of the castle. Ut OH, do I feel a drop? We brought kid ponchos for the kids but decided we didnt need them for ourselves, whats a few drizzles among parents, as long as the kids were dry! How stupid!
The poor marching band were playing, its coming down really hard on them. We want to leave but, we promised the other family we would wait for them, and loyal friends that we are we kept our promise! From the other side of the street we see them running for cover...............that is our cue, we dont have to sit here any longer like drowned rats!
We walk thru the castle (where everyone and their mother is looking for cover) and ended up going around the other way. We were gonna go on a ride to dry off and go inside to do Buzz lightyear & ended up finding a character greeting inside a building, who is in there, who cares ITS DRY!
OMG Stitch! (I thought he escaped) LOL Great video and pics of this! Then OMG Mrs. Incredible, she was incredible! Low and behold guess who was next? BUZZ LIGHTYEAR himself!!!! The kids were screaming..............not only do they get to do the ride, they get to meet BUZZ right b4 they ride, how cool is that? So we go on the Buzz ride, and when we get out it is raining cats and dogs!
All I asked for my birthday was for my family to go on Carousel of Progress with me.......is that asking much..............Apparently! They are all screaming you go, we are doing buzz again! So being the loyal friend she is, Sandy says I`ll go with you, I grab my son and he says OK mommy, I`ll go with you (after all it is my birthday- and him and my DD were fighting so bad at this point, they needed to be separated)
We get off the COP (there was no wait for this ride, I dont know y I love it) But the rest of us were still in line for Buzz, so we are forced to wait in the rain...............well we snuck into the exit of Buzz for a while, looking at peoples pictures on the ride trying to find our crew.
O wait here is Chip and Dale outside of Buzz in the rain .............we snuck back out for a picture! O finally here they are coming out of the buzz ride and its the talking trash can.................the kids got such a kick out of this. Mine never saw it before either!
Now my socks r drenched and I decide I need to go change them, so off to POP we go to get dry clothes for My Birthday dinner at 1900 Park Faire at the GF! After all Prince Charming will be there, and I need to freshen up!
I walked into our room to Birthday balloons and a signed picture birthday card from Snow white! How did they know she is my favorite princess? Ah gotta love the disney magic!
We take the bus back to MK and jump on the resort monorail and ask to sit in the front.................wow what a view, I highly reccommend to sit in the front at least one time on your trip!
All I can say about the grand floridian is OMG! That is where I wanna stay next trip, after all a woman can dream! LOL
Their lobby is huge. OMG the fairy godmother was great in the lobby , she send bibbity bobbity boo pixie dust on me while I was videotaping her, and told me Happy Birthday for the camera!
I had mentioned to them before they sat us that it was also my dd`s birthday 2 days b4 and they said O then we will celebrate both tonight! We both got birthday crowns and birthday placemats and birthday cupcakes! They were so nice in there! And I did have a bowl of strawberry soup, It was delicious!
I even got my picture taken with Prince Charming! When Cinderella came around, my DD thanked her for the pocketbook (her birthday gift from cindy)
and Cinderella looked at her and said "O I`m so glad you liked it!" Gotta love the magic!
We did walk around the GF lobby , using their tree and gingerbread house for family pictures, b4 making our way back to POP. Bribing our kids with the arcade to not go back to a park.....it was actually too late to make any of the parks and wake up early enough to do Chef Mickeys the next morning.
