We are taking my DSIL and DN with us to OKW in 11 days (but who's counting...). My question is, can we leave two credit cards for charges? In other words, can DSIL & DN's charges be attached to their credit card and the our family's to our credit card? We haven't taken anyone with us yet, so I'm not really sure how this will work. Anything I should be careful or aware of? Thanks!

We tried to do this just this past trip 2 weeks ago as we were with another couple and were not able to. The entire room all feeds into the same card on file. I am assuming that you are all sharing a room versus having two rooms with two ressies...

Yep-- one room/ressie. Ugh. This is going to be a nightmare!! Traveling with family is challenging enough without having to deal with "financial issues"! :scared1:

In the past our experience has been that the room keys are numbered so you can split the charges by the number of the room key. You can pay with different credit cards, but you have to do it before midnight the day before you check out or they will put it all on the card you have on file. My sister used her credit card to pay her charges made on her's and her husband's room keys. Hope this makes sense.

In our most recent stay at both AKL and VB a couple of weeks ago, none of the charges on our room bill had a room key number or any other code associated with it. All that was on the list was the date, description/location of the charge, and the cost. You may be able to see the charges broken out by room key if you get a preliminary list, but not on the final.

On DCL however, you could see which person charged what to the account, as they broke it out by person.

We shared our room with my BIL in June. When we found he could not use his own credit card for the room key charges. We had his room key labeled with no charges allowed. So when he wanted to pay for anything including meals, tips, or drinks he had to use his credit card. That way the only thing on the room account were our own charges.

The other option is to have your DSIL buy some Disney Gift Cards before you leave and then have her use those to cover her charges.

This way, you won't have to worry about mixed charges.

Have a great trip!
