2 Families, 1 DDP and Auto Gratuity

Help me Dis'ers - I am drawing a blank and I'm blaming it on the heat!

Our group will be at WDW this month.

One family of 3 on the DDP.

One family of 5 - not on the DDP.

We have ADR's for meals together each day - party of 8.

I know it's no trouble to ask for separate checks, but I cannot remember if each check will be charged an automatic gratuity due to our party size.

Can anyone help me sort this out so I can tell everyone in the group what to expect at our TS dinners?

I believe that YES - you will both be charged an auto gratuity because of your party size.

Yes, for meals you will be a party of 8 and are subject to the auto gratuity no matter how you pay for the meals.
