2 excursions on Castaway Cay... too close together?

So we have a fishing excursion on CC at 8:45am until 11:45. Then I booked the parasailing at 2:30. I could have chosen a 3:30, but thought that we might be too exhausted by the end of the day to do that.

My other concern is if we dock late, the fishing will start and end late, which could make us "late" (meaning miss) our parasailing. On our last trip, the fishing excursion couldn't start until10ish due to docking late, which is what made me think of this as a concern.

So, what do you all think? Keep the 2:30 and stop worrying or move it toe 3:30 (which will end right before all-aboard time)? Would you even do the two things on the same day?

How often is there an issue with late docking so the excursions get backed up?

Also, if this happens, are we too late to cancel the parasailing or fishing excursion, since we won't know until the day we dock?

If you dock late, it still may be in time for an 8:45 excursion. The tend to dock fairly early, if they can.

If the excursion starts late, chances are it will still end at the same time.

Since DCL has allowed you to book 2 excursions, I'd say that you'll still be able to make both. If there were an issue with that on the day of the event, they may contact you about cancelling one or the other. I'd let DCL be the origin of the cancellation. If you cancel yourself, you may incur cancellation penalties.

Even if you're as late as the last time you were there, you'd still have about an hour between excursions. I think you'll be fine. Much later than that and they'll probably not dock at all.

the nice thing about Disney excursions is they take responsibility for them. If they make you late they won't charge you for it.

Whenever we've tried to book two excursions in one day with a short time in between, DCL won't let it go through. We've even tried to book the second excursion while onboard and they still wouldn't let us. So, if they let you book both CC excursions, they must feel you'll have plenty of time even if docking is delayed. And, as mentioned previously, they will automatically issue you a refund if something happens that prevents you from doing one of them. If worse comes to worst and you can't do the 2:30, maybe they'll have some last-minute openings at 3:30 that you could slide into. Good luck, and have a great cruise!! :)

My biggest problem is that for one person, this was all they asked to do. Everything else is fine, but (barring weather/docking issues), this was the one this they wanted to do. So I'm hoping there's no disappointing cancellation, when I could have just booked the 3:30.

That said, I guess there's always the possibility that a weather issue will come up later in the day and it would be missed anyway.
