Hi we are buying 100 points at Copper Creek and looking to buy 150 resale. So if we buy 100 at CC with a June use year and 150 at say Poly with a June use year can they be combined at 7 months?

What happens if we have our 100 CC june use year points and buy 150 Poly points with a dec use year, can they still be combined at 7 months?

When both contracts have the same UY (and are titled the same so they are in the same membership) they can be easily combined at the 7 month mark.
When the contracts have different UY combining them is more difficult. You would need to transfer one group of points to the other membership and since transferred points can't be used online you would need to talk to member services to book a reservation with the transferred points. You could book part of the reservation with one set of points and then book the other part of the reservation with the other set of points if you wanted to avoid the transfer. You could then let member services know that you would like to stay in one continuous room which they usually accommodate but there is a chance you may have to move but not likely.

Also remember you only get one transfer in and out of your memberships once a year.
Another way to avoid a transfer is to bank and borrow on one contract for one year's reservation and then do the same the next year with the other contract. So basically alternating between the two contracts every other year.

But how does 2 home different home resorts change it? Say I have poly and CCV same use year and titled the same, they will be combinable at 7 months right? but if the use years are different it becomes much more complicated.

Yes...easily combinable at 7 months (if same UY and titled the same...no matter how many home resorts/contracts). For example...I have one membership with 2 poly contacts, one HHI contract and one BWV contract ...at 7 months I can easy use all points. I have another membership with a different UY...if I want to use those points it is more difficult and I would have to transfer or book part of the reservation with one membership and the rest of the reservation with a different membership.

I own at 4 different resorts each with their own UY. I haven’t combined them yet because I don’t want to waste my transfer on it. I sometimes rent out extra points, and the absolute easiest way to do it is with a transfer. You don’t even have to combine points unless it’s a really hard to get reservation. You can just book days 1-3 with UY #1 and days 4-6 with UY #2.

Also, on a side note, if you’re going to buy CCV, just be aware of the studio booking issues many report if you plan on staying in studios. Every resort has its good and bad points, but that’s the one I see brought up the most with CCV.

Different UYs are different memberships. It is like you are two different owners.

Reservations can only be booked on one membership. That is why to use points together, you have to transfer from one to the other.

Once transferred, those points cant be used online, which means a call to MS, Once in a reservation, any changes have to go through MS.

When same UY, and titles same way, then they are in the same membership which is why 2 home resorts can be combined at 7 months into one reservation.
