We go to WDW twice a year or so, but have only done the dining plan once, back in September 2005 when it was free. I honestly thought it was too much TS for us and swore I'd never buy it. But this trip will be just me, DD 4 turning 5, and my mom. Mom doesn't 'do' the parks so I *need* the TS dinners so that she'll have something special to do most evenings. KWIM? She'll probably go to MNSSHP for at least a little while, and she'll probably do MGM with us on our last day since she'd otherwise be 'homeless' after check out, LOL. Planning all these TS meals has been a bit of a headache for me, but I think I've got it down now.

I'm hoping for free dining again, but if not we're planning to pay for it anyway. When I figured what it would cost us to do the TS we really wanted it came out to very near the cost of the DDP. I may as well get the DDP and gain a few extra meals and snacks for basically the same cost.

Anything you would change?

We'll be there September 19 - September 28 (yes, my ticker is off, I'll get it fixed one of these days). We're staying at POFQ and will eat a light breakfast in the room most days, we're not big breakfast eaters unless it's more of a brunch, later on. Mom won't be joining us for Akershus, Crystal Palace, or Cinderella's.

Wed...arrive 11:00, CS lunch at POFQ, Chef Mickey's dinner

Thu...Akershus lunch, CS dinner at MK before Spectro (Cosmic Ray's)

Fri...CS lunch at POFQ, Liberty Tree dinner before MNSSHP

Sat...CS lunch at Epcot (Seasons? Tangierine?), 'Ohana dinner

Sun...Crystal Palace brunch, CS dinner before Fantasmic (Pizza Planet?)

Mon...Sea World, Boatwright's dinner (or should I plan Raglan Road?)

Tue...CS lunch at Blizzard Beach (Lottawatta Lodge?), Whispering Canyon dinner

Wed...Cinderella's Table lunch, CS dinner at whichever park we end up in

Thu...CS lunch at AK (Tusker?), Mickey's Backyard BBQ dinner

Fri...Holly & Vine brunch at MGM, CS dinner at POFQ, leave for airport at 5:30

I have planned one more TS meal than we have credits for. If we end up skipping one along the way then we'll be fine, if not I'll just pay for the H&V breakfast OOP w/DDE discount.

Mom's not terribly picky, but doesn't like exotic foods. DD can find something to eat anywhere. I tried to stick to places that would be entertaining for DD and provide somewhat special experiences.

I'm not sure about Boatwright's, just chose it for convenience. We've never done a side trip to Sea World before and I'm not sure how tired we'll be at the end of the day. Should I choose something else that night? Raglan Road? Something else?

TIA for any advice/suggestions! :goodvibes
