We are regulars at DisneyWorld. (My sister lives and works there).
My daughter and I have a short trip planned to go to Disneyland. We will have two days in the parks. Monday and Tuesday December 4th and 5th. I know it may be busy so I am trying to plan as best as I can. But it is a bit different then I am used to.

For Disney World I often look at crowd calendars to see which park to be on which day. Is there any difference in which park to attend on monday/tuesday? I am trying to make a dinner/world of color resrervation. Or does it not matter?

Thanks!!

I don't think it matters at all. Disneyland is open later than DCA, so if you want to stay out later one of the those nights, choose Disneyland for that day.

You’re getting parkhoppers right? Start in DL. When it gets really crowded in the afternoon head to DCA. When DCA closes head to DL.

We were just there last week on Monday and Tuesday. We spent all day at DL on Monday. Tuesday was a Halloween party, so we got a hopper. We stayed until late afternoon and then went to CA until it closed. DL was more important to us, so we were fine with 5 or so hours at CA. We booked FPs through MaxPass earlier in the day for evening time at CA so we walked into CA with FPs for Soarin', RS, and Toy Story! It was awesome!

Last month we went for two days. We did not get park hoppers and still don't feel that we needed them, although we went the week after Labor Day and enjoyed low crowd levels. We just devoted one day in each park and made a plan. We made a list by priority and rode lots and lots of rides and fit a lot into our two days. You won't get to do everything of course but I'd never turn down a trip to Disneyland just because I didn't feel it was a long enough trip. We always want to stay longer.

One thing to consider is that people who have a Magic Morning will go to Disneyland on Tuesday and CA on Monday. You might want to think about doing the opposite to avoid going into the park where people are already in line for rides and FPs.

Enjoy!

Agree on looking at the hours. Sometimes DL is open several hours later on a monday than a tuesday for example.

Thanks. I was thinking about doing the park without the magic morning. We are from the east coast. So we will be up early to get to park by opening.
