Hi! I'm new to the Disneyland Paris board.
I live in the states and my husband and I are planning a two week trip to Europe. We have never been before. We are going to fly into Paris (CDG) on May 12 and fly out of Munich on May 27. What we do in the time in between is still up in the air, but I definitely want to spend 2 days visiting the Disneyland Paris parks. One day at each park.
We will be renting a flat or hotel in Paris for a few days to see the sights (yes, I know, we would probably need the 2 full weeks just in that city alone to get a TRUE feel for the city). Is it easy enough just to take a train to and from Disney from Paris? From what I can gather, it's an hour train ride.
Alternatively, we could stay the night either on Disney property or at the Marriott property nearby (I have Marriott points). The only negative to doing this is that it would be one more check-in, un-pack, check-out.
Let me know what you would recommend! We just did a one week honeymoon in Walt Disney World and we have another WDW trip planned for October, so being "immersed" in Disney is not needed for this trip.
Thanks!
