2 Days in Houston- Advice?

We are heading to Houston tomorrow morning but only for the weekend. What should we see/do/eat? I know I have to amuse myself Saturday in the Montrose area while dh is at a fantasy football draft. Any recommendations?

Not sure where that area is.

But-

The Galleria-a major shopping destination with an ice skating rink

Houston Zoo-but its rather hot now

Lots of neat shops around Rice University

The museum district around the area of the zoo.

I would go to the Galleria. Shop around and have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
