I've been doing some research about top spots to hit in a short amount of time with a toddler. If I only have 2 days in Disney can someone tell me which things below I should def. do and roughly how much time I can expect to either wait in line or view the event? (I have listed them below) Would you suggest I try to fit in the Animal Kingdom? If so how much time should I alot there? I also would appreciate any suggestions on where to eat in the park (we don't have anything planned w/a character.) We're leaving this Thurs. so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Cynthia

MGM: Playhouse Disney Show

Dumbo
many Adventures of Winnie
Train Ride

Tiki Birds
Epcot: Journey into Imagination
Turtle Time w/Crush
Nemo Attraction

MGM: Playhouse Disney Show: Usually has a wait, so we have gotten in line with lunch in the stroller when we had a toddler. This show is perfect for little ones who know Stanley, Bear and the gang! My kids adored this.
Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play Area: Toddlers are really little to do a lot in here, unless you are the type of mom who will climb in with them. Then I would allot about 30 minutes or so.
Its a Small World: We have never waited more than 15 minutes and we go at Easter time.
Dumbo: Head here first at rope drop or the waits are awful. If you are traveling with another adult check out the Chuck Bubba idea. You and toddler get in the line, then second adult gets in line 20 people or so (someone who has read this lately please correct me on the number!) behind you. You and child ride and then when you get off hand the baby over the rope and he/she can ride again.
many Adventures of Winnie: If the line is longer than 20 minutes get a fast pass.
Train Ride: This runs continously around the park and is a great way to settle down a little one who is over stimulated.
Country bears: We have never seen it!
Tiki Birds: Usually not more than 15-20 minutes, but there is a thunder storm in the show so avoid it if your child is afraid of thunder.
Epcot: Journey into Imagination: Not a huge wait, I think about 10-15 min.
Turtle Time w/Crush: We haven't done this or the Nemo.
Nemo Attraction

My kids are big animal lovers so I would suggest AK if your little one likes them. The bone yard has a wonderful playground and sand pit, but expect to spend quite a bit of time in there. My kids also loved the train ride to Rafiki's Planet watch, the safari, pretty much everything except we waited on It's Tough to be a Bug until my littlest was 4.

Have fun!!!

We are also going for 2 days in November with a 4 and 3 year old. We have also been for 2 days when they were 3 and 1. There is some great advice above on the individual attractions. We love It's a Small World because there is never a wait (or a verrrrrrry short one). Some other attractions we enjoyed:
*Pooh's Playful Spot (now known as Fantasyland Play Area)- great place for the kids to let off some steam. It's right across from the Pooh ride. Just be careful your little one doesn't drink the water that comes up out of the ground. Our 1 year old kept drinking the water despite our going nuts at him...the next day he was as sick as a dog. Maybe it was coincidence, but who knows.
*The Golden Carousel- gentle and usually a small line if the right time of the day (we went first thing). A good first ride for little ones to get them geared up.
*Mickey's Country House- you tour the cute little house and then go around back to meet Mickey. Lines are usually minimal (and we went during hot/crowded summer) and the kids love Mickey (and the 1 year old had been afraid of Santa later in the year, but loved Mickey!)

Enjoy! I think that if you live in Florida or are there doing other things, 2 days is the perfect amount of time for real little ones.
