Traveling with my almost 2 year old and husband. Only bought 2 day tickets as we will be visiting friends & family and enjoying the resort (newly DVC members). My question is do we go to magic kingdom for the two days or mk and epcot or mk and hollywood. My son went on his first Disney trip in Sept which we did a lot of those first time photo ops. We went with extended family, so this trip is really just to get some warm weather and enjoy Disney with our son. I also have some old water parks tickets to fill the week along with some character dinning. We are staying at Jambo House in AKV and will be there May 24, 2020- May 29, 2020. We also rented a car to not have to deal with strollers and buses.

I appreciate any input.

Thanks

If you are going for the 2 yo, I would do MK and Epcot or AK. Epcot doesn’t have a ton for toddlers but the character spot is pretty good there and so is the seas. My kids all preferred AK at all ages. There are more shows and animals and the safari ride can’t be beat. Skip HS for now. That park is going to be busy and there isn’t a lot to keep a 2 year old busy IMO.

I left ak out since we are staying there and have a savanna view. I figured he be able to get a lot of animal viewing from our room. But I guess animal kingdom would be a good choice esp with the character dining.

MK for the 2 yr old. Choose the next park for the grown ups. When he’s 3+, he’ll like the Disney Jr Dance Party at HS - where he’ll also be able to do Jedi training at the age of 4. Nothing cuter than a 4 yr old Jedi.
Seriously, at 2 any sidewalk anywhere is thrilling if you add bubbles. He’ll probably sleep half the day, so look into which bars/restaurants/lounges you’d like to hit with your beloved while he sleeps in his stroller.

If you’ve been several times I’d do mk and ak. If you think you’ll be moving very slowly though 2 days of mk might be best

as a dvc family that travelled with our 1.5 year old last year and again with him at 2.5 this year, id do magic kingdom and animal kingdom if limited, hands down no question about it. Epcot there is barely anything for a toddler. Our son loved frozen and spaceship earth but that’s what, an hour? Hollywood studios we literally walked around trying to find characters to meet while daddy did Star Wars land. Then we did the frozen sing along, toy story mania, and we ( the adults) did rider swap on slinky dog and that was all. Again, half day at best. Animal kingdom offers so much to toddlers. There is a train to a petting zoo. The safari is awesome. Tons of shows. The whole dinoland dig playground area and the Dino version of dumbo. Plus you can do the Navi river and the gorilla path and everything. It’s great. We usually plan several animal kingdom days and several magic kingdom days. If you don’t want to do AK then I’d do two magic kingdom days honestly to get the most fun for your time.

Thank you for all your inputs. We’ve decided to cross off Epcot and Hollywood. Still not sure if it will be animal kingdom or just two leisure days at magic kingdom. Again thank you all for your help.
