Hey all. So I had a two day ticket for me and DH. They've been hanging out for a while (a year or two). We also have APs. We renewed our APs in June. Went to the parks July 2,3 and 4th. Well I just went to check my account and it seems our two day tickets disappeared! Did Disney use my two day ticket instead of my AP?! How do I get this rectified?! HELP!!!

1. Did Disney use my two day ticket instead of my AP?!
2/ How do I get this rectified?! HELP!!!

1. It could be.
Or, it could just be a glitch. (And, the tickets will pop back.)

2. Call -
WDW TICKETING GUEST SERVICES
Outside Line: 407-566-4985 (option 5)
Hours: 8:30-16:30 ET Mon-Sat

This kind of thing happens frequently when guests have more than one
ticket in their MDE account.
Disney can fix it.

If tickets aren't properly prioritized, they could easily use the "wrong" ticket. Why they would ever use a regular ticket when an AP is active doesn't make any sense, but it happens. Call and they will fix it.

They replaced the ticket but they claimed that it wasn't a Park Hopper. So they gave us a two day 1 park ticket!! We are trying to get it sorted out. Trying to use reason that it was purchased as a Free Dining Package in 2015 and that it was required to be a park hopper but they claim they can't see that. So we have to email and "escalate" it to make sure they make it a park hopper>:(>:(>:(

Do you have the original confirmation email?

If you know, for sure, that is the ticket that you lost,
you must have been talking to a CM who is less than "experienced."
Call again, and get a CM who works weekdays who will likely have more experience.

It's from 2015 I found an email with the confirmation number. We will keep working at it
Ugh! This has happened to us before. We have AP's and our 2 day tickets from a FD package were used even after we had our tickets prioritized. :sad2: It was a bit of a hassle getting it all sorted out. They should be able to give you back the hopper. Be persistent. It really is all about getting the right person to help you. Good luck! :goodvibes

What a hassle for you to get this straightened out! I agree that an active AP should trigger first, but then again Disney IT does not always make sense.

To avoid this as soon as my package ticket activates on my check in day, and before I go into a park, I switch that active unused ticket to a phantom name on my friends and family list. No way it can be used by mistake. I have also gone to the GS window and had tickets prioritized, but am still paranoid that it won't work correctly and check it every day. Moving the ticket to another person at least saves my sanity and I don't fret about it during the trip.

We now contacted a second person who claims the same. That the ticket wasn't a hopper ticket. I am getting seriously frustrated. This hopper isn't chump change, I want back what I paid for.

Do you keep your old Mickey Mail/voucher packets? They may have you fax proof in.

Unfortunately since it's almost 2 years ago. I don't have anything. I never expected this to be an issue.

This is the only thing I have

On my MDE account I can go to "my reservations and tickets", then on the left side towards the top there's a box that says "show all" with a down arrow. Click the arrow and highlight "show past items." When I do this, I was able to see my tickets from Nov 2015 which was a free dining package. The hotel is listed first but I can scroll down to the tickets. Hopefully it'll show up there for you too. Good luck.

Edit: I just realized I used my tickets, so yours may not show up here. Sorry.

I thought they started requiring the park hopper for free dining in 2016. Your confirmation doesn't list the tickets, and you booked it in 2014. Is it possible they really were base tickets?

I feel certain it was before last year but not sure how far back it does go. I bet there are threads somewhere with the info though. Not sure it wil do more than confirm for the OP. It won't help her prove her case with Disney

AFAIK it was a requirement to buy a Hopper or WPF&M in2015, but I never ever get "Free Dining" so
I didn't keep track.

But, in 2014... (the date of the original booking)
I don't think that the Hopper was yet a requirement.

This kind of thing is of their OWN MAKING because MDE has a bunch of "gotchas" that
nobody at Disney thought through before they foisted it on an unknowing public!

Yup.
