We are leaving next week and I was hoping to try calling two days ahead of when we would like to eat breakfast at CRT. Does anyone know if this still works? I understood that they may release more tables at that time. If anyone has done this, do you need to try calling right away in the morning? We have been to CRT breakfasts twice before, so I'm not frantic about it, but thought it would be a nice surprise for DD since she asked if we were going back there.

i can't answer your question, but would suggest to keep asking at the resort or calling dining for any possible openings. good luck.

I believe that the 2-day rule is simply due to the cancellation requirement required for those that already have a reservation and will not be attending. This reservation is held by a credit card and I don't remember if I was told that it required a 24 or 48 hour cancellation policy or my credit card would be charged. I would call at 2 days and again at 1 day. Also, you may want to even stop by at the castle on the desired date and they may have no shows??? I wouldn't waste too much time, but as long as your there you might as well give it a try. I have heard reports on this board of occassional walk-ins. Hope that helps! Good luck :)

Never worked for us but you can try, it's actually a 24 hr cancel or you loss your deposit. You have to pay a deposit of $10 per adult and $5 per child at the time of booking and this IS charged to your credit card (it is not a hold-your card will be charged). I tried making PS the same morning and I was told by WDW Dining they don't make them the same day.

PSB on the other hand charges $10 per person and it's a credit card "hold" -you won't be charged unless you don't cancel by 48 hours prior.

I've been able to get a PS at CRT that way twice, and that was before they even charged a deposit for CRT. I did call right at 7:00 a.m. in the morning, though, and I was offered several different breakfast times (5 or so) for a party of 4. Also, when I've been doing my calling at 90 (used to be 60) days in advance and they've told me at 7:02 that they're booked, I've asked them if they have any availability in 2 days time from that day, and they always have. If you need to call Disney dining for something else, you can always experiment and see if there's anything in two days from your call date.

Good Luck!
