Can you get them and has anyone used a company to obtain these tickets

You can still get them. It's a very expensive way to buy a ticket though because you pay a flat rate for the hopper feature to be added regardless of the number of days. You can buy them from Disney (US site or over the phone) or other reputable vendors. (Someone else will need to give you recommendation list though as we have always bought ours as part of an onsite package)

For a 2 day ticket you are best off buying from Disney as most of the authorised ticket sellers charge over gate price on short duration tickets.

I have used undercover tourist in the past and can recommend them but as Lee says for a 2 day hopper it is expensive.

Thanks for this think I will do that when we check in, booked POR with Expedia as got a great deal.

Can you add dining to the tickets, obviously aware I would need to pay

No you can't add dining once at the resort - it has to be booked as a package prior to check in.
