2 day disneyland trip looking for help

Im trying to plan out our 2 day disneyland trip. We want to see soundsational and paint the night FOR SURE.

I have heard that soundsational only plays on weekends is that true?

also the show he projects on "a small world" does that play overnight?

No, Soundsational is typically presented daily as the afternoon parade (except during the 2015 holiday season when the Christmas Parade was presented in the afternoons). Historically fireworks and F! are only presented on weekends (although, fireworks have been presented nightly since Disneyland: Forever debuted (I don't expect this to continue past the end of the 60th Anniversary Celebration) and F! is currently dark until sometimes in 2017 most likely).
