Hi everyone! :goodvibes

My son and I just returned from a whirlwind trip! It's highly unusual for us to travel so light or so fast! We're usually a group of 7 and stay for 5 days or more at Disneyland. This was a special mother/oldest son trip. I wrote about it in our family travel blog (no advertising), so I will link directly to it. There are a lot of pictures, and also pretty much a step by step itinerary for EMH days that worked out perfectly for us! I love Disney food so that's in there too!

We had an awesome trip! I hope you enjoy reading about it.

So cute! I loved it, thank you for sharing! I would love to do a solo trip with my kids....how do you prepare the kids that aren't' going? I think if I took DS6, DS5 would be heart broken and vice versa.

What a great trip report! So fun to read and it makes me even more excited for our trip next month! Yay!

We basically promised the others they'd get their turn someday too. I have a conference near Anaheim every year (unless that changes) so their will be more chances. They have to be old enough to sit through the conference day without complaining or needing anything. My oldest just sat quietly by me and read books.

Great report.. I'm wondering why you say Nemo sucks valuable time out of the trip?

Great trip report! Gets me excited to see how much you can REALLY jam into two days! So for us, with 3 days of park hoppers and 1 day at our resort and DTD we are sure to have plenty of time to see what we want to see!

Don't get me wrong, it's cute and if we had the little ones with us or had more time at the park, we would have done it. We've been on it a few times before. If we hadn't, it would be worth the time. It's a very long ride and the only time to get on without a significant wait in line is during EMH or first thing in the morning. I would put Autopia in the same category.
Since we've done it before, and only had one day in the park, our time was better spent with attractions we like more.
