Tower of Terror is one of your favorite rides? You are a brave soul. I can't go on it... I went on it once. I tend to bite... so I can't go any more after the first/last and only time. :rotfl2:

oh... looks like you just posted the question.

He was playing checkers with Woody?

And do I get bonus points if I mention that two different actors have voiced slinky dog?

The first, was Jim Varney (best known for his many Ernest movies).

Sadly, Varney passed away one year after Toy Story 2 in 2000. Hence, the second actor to voice Slinky was Blake Clark.

The Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides. We always head that way first when going to Hollywood Studios (which I still call MGM...haha) and get our passes for that and the Aerosmith ride our other favorite.

Yep, love the ToT...I don't know why...but I love the drops. Goo says he is going to ride...only time will tell!

This is one of the few places the kids got to pick where to eat, in a round about sort of way. I was looking through my passporter book while traveling to the cabin and I asked them to look at the restaurant section and pick out a place they would eat at. The boys of course chose T-Rex (I wanted to do Raglan Road while visiting DTD). This trip is not all about me, so I made sure I got an ADR for them. Both the menu and the restaurant look fun, so I am sure we won't leave disappointed!

This sounds really yummy for dessert...
Chocolate Extinction - A gigantic portion of chocolate fudge cake served with ice cream, fresh whipped cream drizzled with fudge and caramel sauces and sprinkled with Butterfinger crumbs. Enough for two or more.

PINOCCHIO!! These are during the scenes when the creatures are leaving during the forest fire.

Very good...2 points (1 for the movie and 1 for the scene)

Thank you...and glad you stopped in! :goodvibes

Enchanted?! Princess theme...hmmm (can you tell I have 2 boys and a not so girly girl girl so the princess thing does not come easily). I am thinking tea party (tea sandwiches, pink lemonade...fairy wands...pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles) or maybe a "fancy" royal dinner on the good china.

Here are some other ideas I found:

Disney Princess Party Food

•Use cookie cutters in the shape of stars, flowers, castles, and tiaras to cut finger sandwiches, cheese slices, deli meat, and watermelon. Serve on a pretty platter with crackers.
•Make linzer heart cookies and petit fours as elegant snacks for the little princesses, and serve them on a tiered serving tray.
•Make a horse and carriage appetizer! Hollow out a loaf of bread and fill it with your favorite kind of dip. Place two cucumber slices on each side for the wheels. Set up two or more clean, plastic toy horses in front of the loaf of bread and connect the horses to the bread with white string.
•Serve strawberries with strawberry cream cheese or regular cream cheese tinted pink with food coloring.
•Serve fruit punch and sparkling cider in plastic champagne glasses.

Fondue
If a chocolate fountain doesn’t work for you, there is always chocolate fondue. Fondue pots are common. Supervision is needed for this one too since fondue pots can be hot. If using chocolate, it can be melted in the microwave with the same effect.

You can dip all of the foods that would work with a chocolate fountain in the fondue pot.

How about a brunch with strawberry and whipped cream topped waffles? Cut the pancakes out with a heart shaped cookie cutter...true loves kiss?

89. Pressed Penny Hunting for the boys

We were introduced to the fun of press pennies about 7 years ago on a trip to Yellowstone, and have been collecting ever since. What a great (and cheap) way to get out of a gift shop with 4 kids happy my little sister and I decided on that trip. What is it about gift shops and kids?! I have printed off maps of pressed penny locations in WDW as well as bought tubes to store our pennies and quarters (alternate 2 quarters and a penny in the tubes) and pressed penny books for the boys. I know they are going to have fun collecting as many as they can...and I get off cheaply!

Here are some links:

Found this the other day...looks like I need to make my tubes a little fancier for the boys!

I like the tea party idea too! During Thanksgiving week Ab is getting together with 4 of her girl cousins and they are doing a princess movie week...we will see how much the boys get involved (other than eating) :rotfl:!
