2 cabins - only 1 upgrade ?

We have two cabins reserved for our first cruise in May. One is a secret verandah room that was a cat. 6 but is now a cat. 7 and the other is across the hallway and is a cat 11. Our DD, age 19, and her friend, will be in the cat. 11 and DH and I will be in the cat. 7.

Has anyone who has booked more than one cabin ever have one cabin upgraded and not the other?

First, upgrades are relatively rare. Secondly, if you booked 2 cabins on one reservation, either both would be upgraded or neither would.

We had 4 cabins on our reservation for our last cruise - All 4 were upgraded.
