2 BR at Vero May 2010 availability?

Can some nice VB DVC owner help out a fellow DISer ? Our home resort is VWL and we are looking at a Vero Beach trip in May with DH's brother and his family. I called member services this morning and they refused to check availability for me since I am not in the 7 month window . I know that they have done this for me before, oh well. Anyway, I wondered if some kind VB DVC DISer could check on availability for me? We are looking at either Sunday 5/9 for 6 nights or Sunday 5/16 for 6 nights in a 2 BR. Before I firm up dates with DBIL I want to make sure that there is availability. Thanks

If you are a member, there is no reason for them not to check avalibility for you, despite what resort you own at. I would have asked for a supervisor. THis is poor customer service.

MS can not see the availability since they log in to the computer using your member ID. It pulls up your information which allows them to check the resorts you have the ability to book.

Plus, the information they give you today regarding availability is useless unless you can book it since things change by the minute with DVC.

For example, even if someone calls MS today and checks for VB for the OP, by the time the 7 month window opens up in October, things will be different--there could be more or less availability then today .

Thanks . I certainly understand about inventory changing daily, but was hoping to get a general idea of ~ how many 2 BR units were currently available for that time frame. The last time we were at VB a few years a go it was in July, so I wasn't sure how May compared. I'll just be patient and wait until October to call when I can actually book.

We booked the beginning of May this year at 7 months out and got a 2 bedroom no problem in fact we could have gotten a cottage but missing one day. And the weather was great in May too.

A 2br should be available. I am shocked that they didn't look at the future availability for you. Please know that they normally do so.
