Hi all,

new to forum. My wife and I are taking our 2 year old daughter to Disney for her first time. We are DVC members and have been there MANY times. We're also taking my in-laws so that they can experience seeing their granddaughter meet the characters for the first time.

When my wife and I have gone down, we always stayed at The Boardwalk and requested a studio looking over the rear main courtyard; one of the rooms on the third, fourth, or fifth floor over the Wyland Art Gallery.

Question- are there 2 bedroom units in this general area? I understand that at The Boardwalk, in order to get a 2 bedroom, you have to have a 1 bedroom with a studio lockout which is fine. I just want to know if I can get request a 2 bedroom in this area. We would prefer not to walk a mile down the corridor to have a view of the parking lot. if not, we'll consider getting 2 separate studios OR a 2 bedroom at the Beach Club.

booking tomorrow at our 7 month window.

thanks for your help

thank you for your response. What would that room be considered when I book with DVC? A boardwalk view or garden view?

That area is called the "village green" area. It is a pool/garden view. I thought it was only studios in that area, but I could be wrong :) If you want to be guaranteed a nice boardwalk view, then book "boardwalk view" if it is still available. You could be really close to the village green area, or further down the boardwalk towards the swan/dolphin.

The rooms over the Wyland Gallery are all garden view studios, plus one boardwalk view 1 bedroom on the end.

See this thread for room locations:

All 2 bedrooms are lockoffs - 1L + SL (green)

FWIW, 2 studio rooms are cheaper than 2 BR villas as well. Unless you need the kitchen and laundry, I'd probably go with the 2 studios.
