Do any of the 2 bedroom villa's at the Wilderness Lodge have two beds in the second bedroom instead of one and a sofa bed?

Thanks :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Yes, about half of the two bedrooms at VWL are dedicated's with two bedrooms in the second bedroom. These rooms only have one entrance/exit door, there is no second door in the second bedroom like you'll find in a lock/off unit (studio and one bedroom connected together).

We've had a 2bdrm at VWL 3x's and they have all been queen and sofa. I thought the only 2bdrm with 2 qn beds was at OKW. Thanks for the info.

No, VWL has about 40 of them and BCV has about 25 2 bedrooms with two queens in the second bedroom. SSR also has them, though I can't remember the number there per building.

So if we request at reservation the two beds, is there a decent chance we will get one of those villas? :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It is a guaranteed room category. If it's available when you make your reservations, you'll get it. If it's not available, you won't get it. It will be noted on your reservation. If making ressies 11 months out, you shouldn't have a problem getting a 2 bedroom with 2 queens in the second bedroom.

if you ask for a dedicated when you reserve and they have it avialable they will tell you and it will be on your reservation.

The lock off with the separate door and sofa and queen works well with guests that may want some privacy. It's a beautiful villa either way!!!!

6 more weeks!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

We've always had 2 queen beds in the second bedroom at WL. We always ask for a deicated 2 bedroom when we make our reservation. Good luck.

Aha, I always request a 2bdrm lock off, so that is why I've never gotten the two beds. That is good to know. Thanks. :love2:

I requested a dedicated 2 bedroom when I made my reservations at WLV. However, my reservation did not state this so I called. They stated that yes my reservation was showing in the computer as a dedicated 2 bedroom but that it does not show on the printed reservation.

I want to make reservations through Disney, rather than rent from an owner. I have talked to 2-3 reps and they all insist none of the WLV's have two beds only Old Key West. Any idea why that might be? :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I NEVER knew this!!! I would have bet money that the second bedrooms were always set up with a bed and pull out sofa. Learn something new everyday!

It is entirely possible tha CRO Can not book dedicated units. They might be reserved for the exclusive use of DVC guests.

Maybe they thought you were talking about a studio. If it's a studio, it will have the queen bed with the foldout couch.

I didn't know there was a difference. We've got 8 people staying in a two bedroom in a couple of weeks. Does that mean we've automatically been set up with 2 queen beds in one of the bedrooms?

No, if you didn't request it, most likely you won't get the set-up with two queens.

So if you make a reservation for 8 occupants, how can they sleep on three beds (1 king, 1 queen, sleeper sofa)?

OK - I think I've just answered my own question. I guess bedroom number two will have either 2 queen beds or 1 queen and a double size sofa sleeper, right? I'll see if we can get the one with 2 queens, I wonder what my chances are being only two weeks out?
