Can anyone tell me of the hotels near Disney that offer 2 bedroom suites?
I only know of 2 so far which is Portofino Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn & Suites (on Walnut)
We are a group of 8 planning on bringing my Great Niece for her 1st trip in early December. :dance3:

Thank You! :hippie:

I think the Peacock Inn and suites has two bedroom suites. It's a little far to walk but you can take ART and it works out all right. We've stayed there a couple times and have always enjoyed it. The only thing that I don't like is that you have to pay for parking and it's valet parking so you can't just go and get your car whenever you want. But, the hotel is nice and clean and we've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Garden Grove has 2 BR suites. This is NOT in walking distance but is on an ART route. Newly updated rooms with kitchens and free hot breakfast.

My favorite suite hotel is the Desert Inn ~ www.anaheimdesertinn.com. It's nothing fancy, but they do have a large variety of room plans (parlour suites, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 bathrooms, etc.) at fairly reasonable prices and is a SUPER close walk to the main entrance. We've never had a bad experience there.

How many beds are you hoping to have? We've had adjoining rooms at HoJo's for $59 each per night - now they'd be $69 - 2 Qs but they have $59 rooms still *oversized double beds ~ this is the ent. rate not always available. The HoJo Kids suite has a king ~ I wish some rooms had 2 Qs or even 2 oversized doubles ~ + a room with bunks and a fold out chair bed.

Does anyone have a list of hotels with full kitchens?

Sorry to piggyback on your thread, OP. :)

Staybridge Suites has 2 bedroom suites and I think sleeps 8 people.

Residence Inn has 2 bedroom suites, also, but I think they only sleep 6.

We need a 2 bedroom suite the next time we go to DLR and don't want to stay at Desert Inn - we like to sleep on comfy beds and I am pretty sure theirs aren't updated.

If you mean two 2 actual bedrooms, here are some that I've found when searching for our family.

Park Vue Inn (right across the street):
*I haven't stayed here, so I can't comment.

Tropicana Inn & Suites (right across the street):
*We've stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with the kitchen. The set-up of the bedrooms is odd, but the kitchen is huge! It's an average hotel, but I read that they recently changed the furniture.

Anaheim Islander Inn (within walking distance):
*I have not stayed here, so I can't comment.

Residence Inn Anaheim Resort Area/Garden Grove (definitely not within walking distance):
*I have stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and loved it. There are plenty of perks for this suite and hotel. The 2 bedrooms are spacious. One bedroom has 2 beds w/ a full bath; the other bedroom has 1 bed w/ a full bath. A living room with a pull-out couch and a full kitchen. They even have a hot breakfast buffet, a kid's movie room and a bbq area. I love this hotel, but it's location is the only turn-off.

If you're referring to a room with a bedroom and a living area, there are plenty of those. Two hotels that we've recently stayed at and enjoyed were the Hampton Inn & Suites and the Double Tree.

Hampton:

Spacious w/ 1 bedroom (has 2 beds and full bath), a living area (with a pull-out) and a full kitchen. Hot breakfast buffet also included at this hotel.

Double Tree:
Not as spacious as Hampton, but nice. A bedroom w/ 2 beds and a living area w/ pull-out.

Hope this helps!

Tropicana also has adjoining rooms and so does Embassy Suites. I just always assumed that most hotels had adjoining rooms.:confused3

We have stayed in the Staybridge Suites 2 bedroom a few times - 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a baby, and it didn't feel crowded. We really like it - full kitchen, free breakfast and evening reception.

how many kids?
hojos has bunk beds an pull out sleeper in that room an then a adults king i think in the next room. 99night en rate

If not that then maybe two of the cheap rooms 69 a night et rate.

Camelot Inn has a few 2 room suites, really close and a neat pool to boot.

Camelot Inn
I liked it there if you dont go for hojo, they are nice an quick walk.

Hello again!!!

I booked with HOJO! 2 Seperate rooms with queen size beds & the request for them to adjoin (if not, not that big of a deal) for a total of $245.64 per room for 3 nights! :cool1: So $491.28 total for 3 nights and rooms.
I used the annual pass rate. :dance3:

Sorry but I am sooo excited, if my niece would let me bring my great niece with me for my upcoming trip I would. But she wants to be with her for her 1st trip. Understandable.

Thanks again everyone for your suggestions!

You might want to check out the Hyatt Orange County. It is fantastic. We always get a two bedroom suite - they have several options. You can get one king and two queens, a king and bunk beds, etc. The two bedroom suites are two full size rooms with full baths and flat screen TVs, adjoined by a living area (with queen sleeper sofa) with another flat screen TV, desk and refrigerator. The whole suite has just one door - not separate doors like adjoining rooms.

The Hyatt just recently remodeled and the rooms are really nice, as is the lobby. The restaurant is pretty good and kids eat free for lunch and dinner. There is a Starbucks in the lobby (huge plus) as well as a Pizza Hut. The DL shuttle runs very reliably every half hour and is free.

The rates depend on the dates, of course, but we have paid as little as $189 a night for this suite.

If you will be renting a vehicle, you should check out the Super 8 in buena park. Its kitty-corner to Knotts berry farm, next to Midevil times, and across from Po Folks restaurant. We stayed there all the time when I was little. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchenette. When we were there last they even had a bbq by the pool! Summer rental prices were around $99-109 last time I looked (which was about 3 weeks ago)

My in-laws and our family love to stay at the Staybridge! we have tried many hotels, and found all that we have tried to be very cramped with 4 teens and 4 adults. the Staybridge gave us plenty of room...enough for me to really enjoy a 9 day vacation with the in-laws....lol! they have a full kitchen two bathrooms and lots of room.... the breakfast is pretty good too.
we too have booked two rooms and asked for them to be adjoining and all but once the hotels couldn't do it when we arrived. so it really is a crap shoot.
when traveling with a group we do not even try anywhere else anymore, because we really haven't found the room that the Staybridge has anywhere else!
