which resort has the least expensive 2 bedroom suite. I would like to stay inside the park. we have a large group and don't know if we can afford it with tickets and food, etc. thanks.

in Sept, Dec 1-14, Jan

staying Sun-thurs (leaving on Friday).

you can get OKW 2-bedroom villa from a DVC member for $220 a night.

other season, times and other DVC resorts will be more expensive.

a 2-bedroom villa will slept 8.

Also there is FW cabins it slepts 6.

Go to the DVC boards and read about renting points from DVC members. It sounds like the best bet for you.

Old Key West is the first DVC resort. They set the points at the level they decided on at that time. When they built the other DVC resorts, they raised the point costs a little. However, they promised their first DVC members and couldn't raise the point costs later. Therefore, OKW costs much less point-wise than the other DVC resorts.

The $$ costs of the resorts is MUCH higher. The dollar cost of points to cover 6 days of a grand villa is about $1,500 at value season (286 points). That cost is the purchase cost for a single year of those points (along the life of the contract) plus the maintenance cost for those points. The cost to rent those points from a DVC member would probably be about $3,000. The direct cost of that same rental would be $6,600.

thanks. is the week before christmas value season? what about the hotels that are on disney property that are not owned by disney. do they offer 2 bedroom suites. thank you.

I think CSR suites are about 500+/night. We had two adjoining rooms .Without a discount it would be approx.360.00.
