Can anyone give me an opinion on where to stay either on or off site that has 2 bedrooms? We will be 4 adults and two DD's (age 4)
In the past we have always gotten connecting rooms, but this time we thought that we would try something different.
Thanks!!
Have a great day!:earsgirl:

I think most, if not all of the WDW deluxe resorts offer 2 bedroom resorts. HIFS right outside of one of the WDW gates (sorry, can't remember which gate) has kids suites.

You could try the DVC resorts. They all have 2 bedroom villas that have a king sized bed in one bedroom and either two queens or a queen and a sleeper sofa in the second bedroom with a sleeper sofa in the living room. Two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the villa. Check out the DVC board.

Disney29, I have stayed in a few two-bedroom suites - GF, YC, AKL - and have photos of some of them in my on-line photo albums (click here). I have also stayed in various sized DVC villas (OKW, BWV). Both the suites and the villas are wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in either.

For a party of six, you ~might~ be able to stay in a one-bedroom suite (it depends upon the suite's layout). I don't know who the two DD's belong to, but if you can get a one-bedroom suite with the following layout, you might be able to pull it off: Master Bedroom with two queen-sized beds (therefore sleeping "4") and a Parlor Room with a queen-sized sofa sleeper (therefore sleeping "2"). If one set of the adults doesn't mind the other bed in the Master Bedroom being shared by the two four-year olds, it would work (that would leave the other set of adults with the sofa sleeper). If that arrangement doesn't appeal to any of you, then you'll need the two-bedroom suite. I should mention that suites are never discounted and they can be quite pricey.

As far as DVC villas go, you'll need a two-bedroom villa since they accommodate eight people (the one-bedroom villas only accommodate four). The villas are lovely and actually have better amenities than the suites do -- the villas have a full kitchen plus a washer and dryer. The villas, however, are very popular with DVC members so you might not be able to get what you want.
