2 bedroom occupancy ?

Hi all. We will be a party of 9, 2 families with a total of 5 children all over age 3. I am hoping at the 7 month window to change our reservation to a resort that is set up for 9. But I am confused and have gotten mixed answers from member services. And I am not a rule breaker. If we providing our own bedding and linens can we stay in any 2 bedroom? Do some have a hard 8 occupancy limit? We are owners not renting or paying cash and I believe that does make a difference.

I think you should be ok, it should tell you how many it sleeps when booking.

Go to the online booking page on the member website and enter the number of people in your travel party, select a resort & room type and then click 'Continue'. If the villa won't accommodate the party size, you will get an error. If it doesn't error, the next page will indicate if you need to provide bedding & linens for the 9th individual.

It also shows up in the Destination section when you look at each resort under rooms and points. I was surprised that they limit BCV Dedicated.

Thanks! This worked. So it looks like the only resort that's a hard 8 is copper creek.

I put in dedicated 2 bedroom for beach club and it automatically flipped us to a lock off.

BCV dedicated has a King, 2 Queens and a queen sofa bed. I think because the configuration is different even in the living space, they decided to hard limit it, versus the configuration in a lock-off. The lock-off 2BR has a king, a queen, 2 sleeper sofas and a murphy bed, so it actually natively sleeps 9 and I think the "BYOB" note is now out of date.
