I have a 2 bedroom lock off at WLV Dec. 17-22. I may need to stay 1-2 more nights because of airfare issues. I would like a studio since the rest of the people traveling with us will not be there and I do not have enough points for 2 bedroom. What are the chances they would let us stay in the studio part of the villa and lock off the one bedroom part or vice versa saying i the one bedroom part and looking off the studio? DH does not want to the pain of switch rooms.

It could happen, you need to add the request and the studio reservation number and the "continuing reservation" notation to both reservations. Also check with the room assigner when you check in for the first reservation.

It's a request but they will try to make it happen if they can.

We have had good luck with that situation all 4 times we tried it. Dropping the second bedroom would give you a better chance since you are already occupying the studio for the first part of the trip.

I'd say close to 100% if you plan it well. I'd have them note the issue on both reservations then remind them at check in (go to the front desk) then go to the FD again on the change day and remind them again. It really shouldn't be a big deal if you use these precautions though there's always a risk. You might even consider the dinging plan for the studio when it'll be a smaller group and you could use those credits on the change day as soon as you "check in".

I'm in a similar position, and have a request in to Member Services. I have a value 1 bedroom for 2 nights before the rest of my friends come and then I have a value 2 bedroom booked. Since all value 2 bedrooms are lock offs, I have requested not to have to move.

We'll see.

Do you currently have the 2 nights you want for the studio portion already booked? If not, then they won't be able to just let you stay in the studio because someone will have booked it. Now, if you have those 5 nights in a 2 bedroom and then 2 more in the studio already booked, as mentioned, there is a good chance you can get them to allow you to just stay in the studio part.
