2 bedroom at BLT or VWL?????

Where would you suggest?

Kids will be 3 3/4 and just over 2 when we are there.

Both sound nice - is the VWL still in good condition?

How long a boat ride is it to MK from VWL?

blt - you might really need to walk back (or take the monrail) if the kids go in melt down at MK.

the boat ride to the MK was around 15 minutes.

They are both good choices especially with BLT being so close. However, I might choose VWL due to it's relaxing nature and when you have young kids you need some down time.

VWL is a longer boat ride away, but it is a relaxing boat ride. To me it's a very enjoyable method of transportation (almost a ride).

Another aspect about VWL that my girls enjoyed is playing on the beach. There's a little playground on the beach. Again a good relaxing spot especially for 2's and 3's.

Personally I'd go with VWL. I think your kids will just love the theme and the boat ride is neat too. There are now dedicated boats two and from the MK to the WL, so it's not that long of a wait to get one.

VWL just had a 'soft' refurbishment, so the pull out couches were replaced, chairs, paint, etc. It looks really nice, I think.

Really depends on what is important to your family, and if you plan to spend most of time in parks. We just spent 5 nights at DWL and loved it but...........waiting for the boat is just like waiting for a bus except the boat is a nicer ride IMO. I would prefer to walk any day over transportation so for OUR family we would pick BLT. DWL was awesome and don't think you can go wrong with either. If I was going to hang out at the resort mostly and relax then I would go for DWL......very relaxing. DWL room that we were in looks like it was newly renovated, carpet look brand new and the whole resort is just beautiful. I have a trip report that has some pics of the kids enjoying the DWL from last week in the misc forum.

I'm not sure what BLT has to offer the kids and what the pool is like etc. I would take BCV as my #1 choice but our next trip is BLT because who knows when/if we will get the chance again

BTW we have a 6, 3 and 2 years old....they love the beach and pools and don't hit the parks hard. I'm just impatient and don't like to wait for transportation, I like to just leave when I went and we love to walk.

Honestly I don't think anyone can go wrong with any of the resorts. Now I just wish they would pick up SSR and move it to the EPCOT area....my favorite resort and favorite location
