2 Bedroom AKL week before Thanksgiving at 7 months?

What are my chances of getting a standard 2 bedroom in AKV for November 18-23, 2013 (the week before Thanksgiving) at 7 months? I would take either Kidani or Jambo. Should I book SSR (my home resort) now to ensure I get something or should I wait until 7 months to make my reservation? How busy is that time period? Also need to book a studio November 13-18.

I do not think you will have any trouble getting that reservation.

Assuming your back-up is a 2 bedroom at SSR, I would not bother booking it now. It will almost certainly be available at 7 months, so if necessary, you can book it then. But again, I do not think you will have a problem.

That particular November week is not all that popular and both AKV & SSR are large resorts that almost always have space at 7 months.

For that time in 2012, AKV standard and savanna view at both buildings were available at 7 months out. That has been true year round save for one week of the year, the first week of December.

This is good to know ... I unfortunately have to book Florida resorts at 7 months, and will be trying for that same week (Nov 17-22). I'm hoping to book a studio at BWV for a few nights (any view), and BLT Lake View 1 bedroom for 5 nights. We're okay with AKV as a back-up but really prefer to be closer to the parks!

We own at BWV and I don't think you'll have any problems booking a studio for your dates if you're that flexible w/the view choice. I was stalking the same week for 2012 last year and was able to have my pick before the 7 month mark and after the 7 month mark.
